Our Story
How Umbra Logic Came to Be
Umbra Logic was founded in Bangkok in 2019 by a small group of data scientists and business consultants who had spent years watching organizations struggle with AI adoption. The pattern was often the same: companies would invest in technology they didn't fully understand, skip foundational steps, and end up with tools that nobody on their team could maintain or trust.
We started with a simple premise — that the most valuable thing we could offer wasn't the most advanced model, but rather the most honest conversation about what a business actually needed. Sometimes that meant building something sophisticated. Other times, it meant recommending that a company strengthen its data infrastructure before investing in machine learning at all.
Over the past several years, we've worked with organizations across manufacturing, finance, logistics, and healthcare in Thailand and the broader Southeast Asian region.
